Brie

Known as the “Queen of Cheeses,” Brie is a soft cow’s milk cheese with a creamy interior and a white, edible rind. It has a mild, buttery flavor with hints of mushrooms and is often served at room temperature with bread and fruit.

Roquefort

This famous blue cheese is made from sheep’s milk and aged in the limestone caves of Roquefort-sur-Soulzon. It has a strong, tangy flavor with a creamy texture and blue veins throughout. Roquefort is commonly enjoyed with pears, walnuts, and crusty bread.

Camembert

Similar to Brie, Camembert is a soft, creamy cheese made from cow’s milk. It has a rich, earthy flavor with a hint of fruitiness and a bloomy white rind. Camembert is often baked or served with crackers and apples.

Comté

This semi-hard cheese is made from unpasteurized cow’s milk in the Jura region. Aged for several months, Comté has a firm texture and a nutty, slightly sweet flavor with hints of butter and hazelnuts. It’s often used in cooking or enjoyed on its own with wine.
